Service Description
8 hours 30 minutes Fitness Level – a long day out with one steep walk of around 700 metres. Located around 100kms from Rockhampton, Byfield National Park is a place of beauty and adventure. Meet at the Criterion Hotel at 9:30am or organise a pick-up from your hotel, and we'll then head through a changing landscape, to Nob Creek Pottery, a hub for ceramic arts since 1979. After an early lunch at the Byfield Store, we hit the sometimeschallenging trail to Five Rocks where we will take in forests and views, splash in a small waterfall and perhaps have a brief swim in the ocean. In summer we may stop for a bracing dip at Upper Stoney Creek on the way home. Arrive back in Rockhampton 6:00pm, tired but happy.
